Leading Organization in the Tourism and Hospitality Industries Elects New Chairman of the Board to Commence its 40th Anniversary Year
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Dec. 19, 2023 - PRLog -- The National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP) is proud to announce Nicholas I. Wiggins as the organization's newly appointed Chairman. With a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to advancing the interests of Black professionals in the Tourism and Hospitality industries, Mr. Wiggins is set to lead the forty-year-old NCBMP to new heights.
Hailing from New Jersey, Nicholas I. Wiggins is a distinguished professional with an impressive track record. As the managing director at Values Partnerships, the largest 100% Black owned social impact agency in the United States, Mr. Wiggins has consistently demonstrated his ability to foster positive change and create meaningful connections. Mr. Wiggins is also the founder and principal of NIW Design, a firm specializing in client-centered services such as event management, strategic visioning, and image consulting. His expertise in amplifying profiles and brands makes him an invaluable asset to the NCBMP.

I am looking forward to continuing to build on such an incredible foundation by maintaining the spirit of our founders and exploring new, innovative opportunities to support Black meeting professionals," states Mr. Wiggins, NCBMP Chairman.
Having served six years at the NAACP, Mr. Wiggins played a pivotal role in planning and executing the prestigious NAACP Image Awards and the organization's Annual Convention. Additionally, he led the NAACP Experience Expo and the Leadership 500 Summit, showcasing his exceptional leadership and organizational skills. Currently, he serves as a Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the NAACP Image Awards Committee, ensuring the success of the legendary show.
Apart from his professional achievements, Mr. Wiggins is deeply committed to civic engagement. He maintains active memberships in influential organizations such as the National Urban League, Southern Poverty Law Center, Human Rights Campaign and serves as an ambassador to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. He also continues to make a difference through various initiatives, including co-founding the 4 The Culture Brunch—an influential space where creators, entrepreneurs, and influencers connect and network around Black culture. His recent appointment as Co-Chair of Emerge America's Black Leadership Circle further solidifies his commitment to empowering Black leaders.
In addition, Mr. Wiggins will be joined by the rest of the newly elected officers for NCBMP and making history as the youngest leadership team for the organization. The NCBMP officers include-
