OpenAI's Palo Alto chatbot rival Character.ai scores $150M at a $1B valuation

The 16-month-old startup said its website is getting nearly 100 million monthly site visits, a four-fold increase in two months, and its users have created more than 2.7 million chatbot characters to interact with.
