Allegro Music & Dance Academy and Tim Veurink are pleased to announce that the Chicago Music & Dance academy offers in-person theater, music, and dance lessons. The teaching methods ensure that students are encouraged to express their creative abilities. The teachers have guided musicians, dancers, and performers to grow and improve in their chosen fields. Beginners and others learn in a way that makes the lessons exciting and fun.
When choosing an appropriate studio for musical or performing arts lessons, it helps to research and make an informed decision. The studio offers semi-private and private lessons for students at all knowledge levels. Musical instrument lessons are available for guitar, piano, violin, and others. There are also voice lessons and lessons for band instruments.

Dance lessons teach a variety of fun styles. The classes are held in two different locations: Lemont and Lockport. The instructors are recognized for their skills in educating students in disciplines of various types and tastes. The Musical Theater casts are student performers. In past years, students have presented well-known musical theater shows such as The Wizard of OZ, Finding Nemo, Madagascar, Despicable Me, and Annie.
The beginnings of the studio date to as early as 1961. There was a music store in Lockport. Tim Veurink purchased the store in 1991, and ten years later, he partnered with piano teacher Lori Gardner to launch a performing arts academy in Lemont. The founders added a third location in Bolingbrook. Now, music lessons are available in all three studios. In addition, studios in Lockport and Lemont offer dance lessons.
In the decades of operation, the goals of Allegro have been consistent. The teachers want to teach all students music, dance, and other performing arts. A studio is where students can meet, learn, and perform.
