Nae Nae says “I Messed Up” in an Update on Mother’s Day “BOGO” Product Launch Shipping Delays

On July 21st, 2021, Nevadra Johnson, Founder of Nae Nae’s Natural’s, wife, and mother of 4, posted a video entitled “I Messed Up!” on their Nae Nae’s Naturals Unlimited Facebook Page.

She says products that generally take three days to a week to arrive at their loyal customers’ addresses have now taken a month or longer. This results from the unanticipated success of their Mother’s Day product pre-launch for their new “7 Step Hair Boost Method” Bundle.

Nae goes on to explain the flip side of unanticipated success. “Our company anticipated that the pre-launch would produce two, three, four maybe five hundred sales at most; however, the pre-launch produced an outpouring of success we didn’t anticipate – 10,000 (TEN THOUSAND) orders now need to produced and ship. We had the primary resources in place to fulfill 200 to 500 orders; 10,000 orders meant potential shipping delays.”

More orders than can be handled would usually be “a good problem to have.” Effectively responding to those orders may be the norm with a typical business model with all its ingredients in-house. With Nae Nae’s Naturals, each product consists of components that take time to source globally to achieve the level of quality their socially conscious clientele have come to expect.

Nae Nae’s custom boutique business model meant that 10,000 orders increased sourcing for ingredients that unfortunately did not all arrive simultaneously to fulfill orders effectively.

Nae expresses the concerns some customers may be experiencing in a video to their customers. She addresses the resolution Nae Nae’s Naturals will be taking. “I know some of you would have liked for us to have communicated with you, and I understand that. I would have loved to have come to you guys sooner, at least to give you more of a deadline, a delivery date. But with these various ingredients being sourced over the globe for seven different products, and our recent inventory restructuring and moving into a warehouse; we did not have a definite time frame for you guys. Now, however, with added resources in place, we will be mailing out kits Starting Wednesday, July 21st. Once again, the entire Nae Nae Naturals family and I would like to extend our heartfelt apology for the delays. We appreciate all of you hanging in there and just staying with us and supporting us. In the future, I as well as the company will be more vocal in our communication.”

The company will not only be sending out ongoing communication with their customers. They will also be sending out a GIFT with every kit shipped for those affected by the delay.
