Florida's "Festival city" hosts the annual two-day, open-air event in its historic downtown walking district. The FREE event features 250 artists, crafters, and cocktails.
MOUNT DORA, Fla. - March 7, 2025 - PRLog -- The 28th annual Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts kicks off in the streets of downtown Mount Dora on Saturday morning March 15th at 9am.
Join Visit Mount Dora™ as the downtown Mount Dora, FL streets come alive with hundreds of artists and hand crafters set up to show off and sell their original artwork.
Event coordinator Janet Gamache says, "We are excited to support more than 200 artists and hand crafters from all over the state and even the country. There's a satisfaction in knowing that you are not buying an imported, mass manufactured item, but instead, directly supporting an artist for their hard work. You can see it in the smiles of both buyer and seller."
Each year, artists set up tents along the streets of shops in the walking district in historic downtown Mount Dora, FL.
Street vendors will offer festival food like kettle korn, lobster rolls and arepas, but the downtown restaurants will also be open for people looking for indoor options.
The Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts is a family friendly two-day, open-air event. Mount Dora Center for the Arts will host a free craft zone for kids to try their hand at crafting their own projects in Sunset Park.
The event is pet friendly but owners are encouraged to leave their pets at home for the comfort of your animal and other event guests. A free parking shuttle will be available at 900 Lincoln Ave, Mount Dora.
Bring the family, wear comfortable shoes, and get ready to shop 'til you drop! The show runs Sat March 15 and Sun March 16 from 9am-5pm www.MountDoraSpringFest.com
