AC Hampton is a 26-year-old entrepreneur and business coach on an inspiring mission to help others succeed. Despite his young age, Hampton has already achieved massive success as an entrepreneur by building and growing multiple seven and eight-figure e-commerce and dropshipping stores from the ground up. On the other hand, Hampton’s passion for helping others comes from his struggle-filled days when he tried to build a name for himself but was constantly held back by life’s obstacles. Now that he has achieved success, he wants nothing more than to help others in similar situations to find their way to a better life as well.

As Hampton explains, before achieving the success he enjoys today, he was a college graduate working in a winery store’s sales and marketing department for a minimum wage. His job was a soul-sucking monster that ate all of his time, and at the end of each day, Hampton felt like he’d always end up on square one. To make things worse, he couldn’t get out as he had bills to pay and a mouth to feed.

“I was fresh out of college, and I didn’t expect to start earning $100,000 a year right off the bat. However, the job soon started to feel like I was going in circles. There was no option for me to improve my knowledge or skills further even though I knew that I could do and be much more,” he says.

“The final straw that broke the camel’s back was when I got robbed. Someone broke into my apartment and stole everything I ever had—clothes, TV, laptop, cash, even furniture. I called my boss to explain the situation, and the only response was: You know you are still expected to come for your shift tomorrow, right? After hearing that, I quit on the spot.”

Wanting more out of life, Hampton mustered his courage and decided to become a full-time entrepreneur with e-commerce and dropshipping. It was a natural choice for Hampton as he had a degree in marketing and computer science engineering and had already dabbled with dropshipping during his college days.

Cue one month later, Hampton tried to scale over 50 different products, and 49 failed except the last one. The last product was a success, and it was the success Hampton needed to continue pushing forward and ultimately build the dropshipping empire he owns today.

“My journey wasn’t easy, but I was persistent. Even when times were tough, I just kept pushing forward until I made it out the other side,” says Hampton. “That’s how I know how hard it can be to build a name for yourself, and that’s why I want to share my knowledge with others – so they can find success too.”

With a dedication to giving people the tools they need to create businesses that will change their lives forever, AC Hampton created a YouTube channel that features beginner-friendly videos on how to get everything up and running as smoothly as possible.

From basic and advanced marketing and product guides, as well as product research tips and tricks to monthly reports on next month’s winning products and success stories of his protégés, aspiring dropshipping entrepreneurs can find everything they need to succeed in one place and much more.

Besides free content on Hampton’s YouTube, he also offers private lessons and courses through his program called Supreme Ecom which his mentees learn everything from A through Z when it comes to e-commerce and dropshipping. As Hampton explains, the basic program lasts 60 days, and he takes up to ten people at a time. Every mentee in the program gets Hampton all for themselves through one-on-one lessons and calls.

“Every person has different goals and pace, and my program is designed to be completely convenient for my clients. There are no conference calls where ten people are listening to me because they can get that conference experience by going to my YouTube. I dedicate myself 100% to them and their goals; everything is one-on-one.”

“My goal is not only to provide other people with tools and means to achieve financial freedom, but also the freedom that comes with knowing you can do anything you set your mind towards,” says Hampton. “If there is one thing I learned, it’s this: the journey to the top will try and test you, but if you stay true to your mission, only the sky’s the  limit.”

From augmented reality (AR) over emerging machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to the rise of voice search – he explains that each trend has enough power to steer and shape e-commerce in the most unpredictable ways, and he doesn’t want to miss any part of e-commerce’s unstoppable growth.

For example, the rise of AR allowed brands and shops to offer customers a complete experience. Customers can now try on clothes virtually before they buy or decorate and furnish their homes with e-commerce products, and the strategy works wonders.

Modern Retail’s research series data suggest that product demonstration via virtual try-on and real-world overlay has skyrocketed in the past five years. On top of that, Statista data shows that while AR is most popular among Gen-Z, the technology also sparked a significant interest across generations and even among the members of the silent generation.

Voice search has also been a game-changer as it enabled e-commerce giants to start building tools that could recognize customer intent and lead them to the right product or category faster than ever. In addition, AI is already being used to personalize the e-commerce user experience and make targeting more precise and efficient than ever based on customer data.

As Hampton puts it: “I wouldn’t trade e-commerce for anything else – it truly has been a life-changing experience for me. I have learned so much over the past few years, but with e-commerce being tight-knitted with technology and its advancements, there will always be a new challenge ahead. As an entrepreneur at my core, challenges are what I live for because they are what keeps the game interesting, and that’s why I will stay on this e-commerce train for as long as it’s running.”
