Bee Cave, TX, 4/29/2024 — Bristol Family Eyecare has announced that they are launching a campaign to celebrate their 20th anniversary, in addition to hosting an anniversary party. While the celebration date has not yet been released, the multi-location practice has reached this milestone after being founded by Dr. Dan Bristol in 2004. The practice has since expanded, from their specializations to their staff, which has helped form a positive reputation for advanced eye care in the area. By marking two decades in business, Bristol Family Eyecare displays their longevity as an enriching destination for eye health as well as their commitment to exceptional care.
“It is deeply rewarding and thrilling to be able to mark our twenty-year anniversary with the team,” said Dr. Bristol, founder and owner of the practice. “We started off much smaller than we are now. We had this 1500 square foot space, and now we have three locations that have truly been able to provide quality customer service to patients in and around Austin. I’m incredibly grateful for everything!”
Part of Bristol Family Eyecare’s success is due to a company culture that prioritizes community, something displayed with their recent total solar eclipse viewing party that also drove eye examinations and safety precautions during the once-in-a-lifetime event. The practice also utilizes advanced technology that helps maintain patient eye health to a more precise degree, something they have built up over the years going beyond typical optometric services to include things like myopia management and glaucoma care. The expansion of services is also displayed by their collaboration with audiologist Dr. Bea Smith, helping support patients’ sensory health aside from vision.

Dr. Bristol has developed a reputation for his knowledge in Austin, lecturing as an adjunct at Austin Community College and through his work with the Prevent Blindness Texas program. Bristol Family Eyecare maintains a strong focus on continual education for practitioners to ensure that all are up to date with the latest in scientific literature as well as treatments in the industry, something made easier by the fact that Dr. Bristol is a member of the Ciba Vision Speakers Bureau and regularly lectures to his fellow colleagues on things like glaucoma management and dry eye syndrome treatment.
