Named after former president Ronald Reagan, the AI chatbot has been designed as a tool for independent thinkers, and supports fact-based arguments by producing content rooted in anti-censorship and freedom of speech.
Despite the name, TUSK notes that the chatbot is not officially affiliated with any political party or organization. Instead, it is a novel approach to counter the perceived liberal bias in popular AI tools like Gemini, Grok, and ChatGPT.
The TUSK team believes that Big Tech AI assistants tend to produce liberal-leaning content, a concern that has been validated by a recent study conducted by the University of East Anglia - which found compelling evidence of liberal bias.
TUSK has developed its chatbot as a counterbalance, offering a safe space for conservative users to discuss their views without fear of being censored or banned.
