On May 25th, the Conference on Promoting Development of S&T Ecosystem of G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta kicked off in Songjiang, Shanghai. With nine cities integrated and collaborative innovation, it takes a higher position and broader vision to discuss and propose better functions to jointly promote G60 S&T ecological construction, and to better serve the integrated and high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta.
Scientific and Technological Innovation Forging S&T Ecological Engine
Shi Qian, director of Shanghai Institute for Science of Science, released the overview of innovation achievements of G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta at the Conference. G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta has completed the phased objectives of the Construction Scheme of G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta with high quality, and its comprehensive development level is at the forefront of national urban clusters, close to the level of international innovation clusters. G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta focuses on "Four Aspects", implements the joint research mechanism of key technologies, and builds a number of high-energy major scientific and technological innovation platforms. Major original innovations and institutional innovations continue to emerge, and the whole-course innovation "from 0 to 10" is accelerated.

A declaration on the science and technology ecology of G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta was released at the Conference: It is making every effort to build a science and technology ecology under the guidance of the new development concept, a science and technology ecology with marketization, rule of law and internationalization, an open sharing and co-construction symbiosis, a science and technology ecology with continuous science and technology innovation power and a better business environment.
At the Conference, the Yangtze River Delta Institute of China Telecom Industry Research Institute was unveiled, and a number of projects focusing on cross-regional cooperation, factor aggregation, and deepening the integration of education, technology, and talents were signed.
Institutional Innovation to Build the Ecological Foundation of Science and Technology Innovation
G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta constantly stands at the forefront of institutional innovation. The Conference deliberated in writing documents such as the Action Plan for Strengthening Collaborative Innovation and Continuously Optimizing the Business Environment in G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta (2023-2025) (draft for review). Representatives from research institutes, incubators and enterprises such as China Construction Bank and the Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligent Technology of China Academy of Sciences exchanged speeches.
