Renas joins Wilson Sonsini from Katten Muchin Rosenman, where he advised clients across the energy, oil and gas, and metals sectors on the full lifecycle of financial transactions—from structuring and negotiation through execution. His work includes borrowing base facilities, renewable energy projects, intermediation facilities, tolling structures, and structured commodity transactions. He also represents a diverse client base in the securitization and repackaging of assets and is widely recognized in the collateralized loan obligation (CLO) market for his command across broadly syndicated and middle-market structures.
Renas further counsels financial institutions, insurance companies, derivatives dealers, and end users on a broad spectrum of structured products, including commodity swaps, total return instruments, credit derivatives, and repo contracts. He has extensive experience in domestic and cross-border receivables securitizations, asset-based finance, factoring, supply chain and vendor finance, and trade finance—frequently helping clients design tailored monetization strategies that unlock value.
