Marian University Launches New K-12 Private School, Offers Flexible, Faith-Based Learning Across Indiana

Indiana families looking for a flexible, faith-based learning experience can now enroll in Marian University Preparatory School, a new virtual/hybrid, K-12 education option founded by Marian University and powered by Stride, Inc. (NYSE: LRN) – the nation’s leading provider of innovative, high-quality and tech-enabled education solutions.

Opening in August, Marian University Preparatory School will provide a learning model that blends the best of virtual instruction and face-to-face engagement, and is grounded and guided by faith. Using the comprehensive learning platform from Stride, Inc. to provide a world-class, personalized education experience, MU Prep will offer an adaptable curriculum in core subjects, religion, electives, and career and college readiness, as well as the platform, tools and resources necessary for successful online and hands-on learning.

MU Prep families will benefit from a high-quality academic schedule that fits their life. In addition to full-time virtual learning, families can elect for full-time hybrid learning known as Prep Plus, which combines virtual and in-person learning for a more hands-on experience. Mobilizing an engaging mastery-based curriculum are state-certified teachers with extensive training and experience who will provide virtual/hybrid instruction. Students will have access to comprehensive support, AP and honors courses, work-based learning opportunities, Marian University’s campus and network and most importantly, an engaging school community that extends far beyond the classroom.

Indiana students entering grades 6-9 in the 2022-23 academic year are eligible to enroll at Marian University Preparatory School to begin classes in August. Both virtual and hybrid learning options are available to Indiana residents, with in-person learning taking place in Indianapolis during the first year. Courses will also be made available to K-12 schools seeking to augment, extend or create new learning experiences in traditional schools. Marian University Preparatory School will add grade levels each year until grades K-12 are available and will increase access both statewide and nationally.
