cellcom israel announces a purported class action filed against the company
Netanya, Israel – May 7, 2015 – Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (TASE: CEL) (hereinafter: the "Company") announced today that a purported class action was filed against the Company, alleging that the Company, in violation of its license, discriminates between its cellular customers (including between new and existing customers), by offering similar customers different prices. The total amount claimed from the Company, if the lawsuit is certified as a class action, is not estimated by plaintiffs at this time. At this preliminary stage, the Company is unable to assess the lawsuit's chances of success.
