On January 25, 2010 Municipal Mortgage & Equity, LLC, (the "Company"), announced a retirement from its Board of Directors. (See Press Release dated January 25, 2010 entitled "MuniMae Announces Director Retirement", attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report).

On January 20, 2010, Richard O. Berndt announced his retirement from the Board effective immediately. Mr. Berndt served on the Board since 1996. Mr. Berndt was a member of the Company’s Governance Committee.
