Item 1.01 | Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement. |
On January 13, 2016, Rice Energy Inc. (the Company) entered into a Seventh Amendment (the Seventh Amendment) to its Third Amended and Restated Credit Agreement, among the Company, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as administrative agent, and the lenders and other parties thereto (the Credit Agreement). The Seventh Amendment amends the Credit Agreement to, among other things, increase the aggregate notional volume limitations for the Companys hedging arrangements contained in the Credit Agreement for the first eighteen months after any commodity swap agreement or secured firm transportation reimbursement agreement is entered into.
