This announcement is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.2 R and 3.1.4 R(1)(a).
During 2015, awards of US$0.50 ordinary shares (the "Shares") in HSBC Holdings plc were granted under the HSBC fixed pay allowance arrangements (the "Awards"). The Awards comprised part of the relevant employees' fixed remuneration for 2015. 20 per cent of the Shares that vested under the Awards were subject to a retention period which expired on 21 March 2016.
On 21 March, the following Shares were sold in London at £4.5018 per Share.
