Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On January 9, 2007, Critical Therapeutics, Inc. (the "Company") announced
expected revenue from ZYFLO sales, net cash expenditures and operating results
for the fourth quarter of 2006 based on preliminary data. The Company also
reported an anticipated change in revenue recognition policy for ZYFLO sales
beginning in the first quarter of 2007. The full text of the press release
issued in connection with the announcement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this
Current Report on Form 8-K.
