The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 7.01, Regulation FD Disclosure.
On April 08, 2005 CanArgo Energy Corporation issued a press release announcing that it has commenced drilling operations on the N100H2 well on its Ninotsminda Field in Georgia, and also announcing that it has reached agreement to secure a 100% working interest in the Norio exploration contract area.
A copy of the Press Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
