THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS PASSES RESOLUTION ON PAY-OUT OF DIVIDEND IN CASH

     On July 29, 2005, the board of directors of SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (“SK Telecom”) resolved to pay a cash dividend of 1,000 Won per common share for the first half of the fiscal year ending December 31, 2005 to the shareholders who are registered in the SK Telecom’s shareholders’ registry as of June 30, 2005. The total amount of dividend to be paid is 73,614,296,000 Won, which will be paid by August 18, 2005.
