ITEM 5.02

Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

iStar Financial Inc. (the “Company”) announced today that Collin Cochrane, its chief accounting officer, will resign his position effective March 15, 2013, subsequent to the filing of the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for 2012.  Mr. Cochrane plans to relocate to the West Coast.  The Company is initiating a search for a new chief accounting officer.  Until a new chief accounting officer is hired, David DiStaso, the Company’s chief financial officer, will assume Mr. Cochrane’s responsibilities.
