On June 27, 2005, EPIX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the European Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has adopted a positive opinion on Schering AG’s marketing authorization application for Vasovist™ (MS-325).  Schering AG, EPIX’ worldwide development and marketing partner, submitted the EU marketing application for MS-325 in June 2004.  A copy of the press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
