Having significant experience in commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors, San Diego Office Design drew on some of the latest interior concepts in the creation of the new StateSide project. As a result of the team's innovative approach, some have likened the atmosphere to that of a boutique cosmopolitan hotel.
A recent report from the US Department of Education explains how students can get the most out of their college years. The department states that getting involved and building connections are two of the most enriching elements while finding a balance between social and study life can also help to minimize stress.
In developing the new StateSide concept, San Diego Office Design focused on creating the best balance between the academic and social needs of residents. Private rooms feature modern furniture and appointments, with flexible study areas also catering to collaborative work. The project’s signature sky deck offers panoramic views of SDSU, while students can also access a sky lounge, private outdoor escape, and Starbucks coffee kiosk.
“StateSide offers a California-style living environment that will help students elevate their lifestyle, foster lifelong connections and make the most of their college years,” a project representative explained. “When it's time to focus, our indoor Study Room is open 24/7. When it's time to unwind, residents will have access to our rooftop sky lounge and social space.”
