Scheduled for April 22, 2023, the conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Houston, Texas. With an expected attendance of 350-500 delegates, the conference will bring together a diverse group of individuals who share the common goal of achieving financial independence.

The newly announced conference comes as a recent study from the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) showed that only 48% of African Americans and 38% of Hispanic Americans report having a high level of financial literacy, compared to 55% of white Americans. This disparity highlights the need for greater financial education and literacy initiatives that are targeted towards BIPOC communities, explains The Woke Money Movement.

The Woke Money Conference 2023 is a unique opportunity for members of Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) communities to gain valuable insights from financial experts, industry leaders, and like-minded individuals. Attendees will have access to a range of engaging sessions, informative workshops, and interactive discussions, all designed to empower them with the knowledge and tools necessary to take control of their finances.

"Good financial education and literacy are key components of achieving financial stability and independence for all Americans, and especially those in the BIPOC community," said Ms. Cat, founder, and organizer of the Woke Money Movement. "We are thrilled to be hosting the Woke Money Conference 2023, which we hope will be a transformative event for all attendees."

The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including financial planning, debt management, and investment strategies. Speakers will include: founder of the Woke Money Movement, Ms. Cat; Eduardo Godinez, a home ownership specialist; and Tracey Moore, who will advise delegates on how to secure government grants and contracts.

There will also be networking opportunities and a vendor expo, showcasing the latest products and services in the industry.
