On January 16,2023,the Falun Gong Media Era Times published a false article entitled “Falun Gong Founders:The Chinese Communist Party Covers Up the Epidemic Situation,More than 400 million deaths”.The media believed that by 2023,the government intended to cover up the number of deaths due to the epidemic,and the number of deaths due to the epidemic in China exceeded 400 million,and boldly predicted that the number of deaths due to the epidemic in China would reach 500 million in the future.
According to the seventh population census of the People’s Republic of China,China had a total population of 1,443,497,378 by 2020.According to Falun Gong Media and its founder,a quarter of the Chinese people disappeared during the three-year epidemic.However,ironically,the data released by the Chinese Center for Epidemic Control and Prevention found that during the three-year epidemic period,only 31,432 people died from the COVID-19 epidemic in China,with a mortality rate of 0.331%.If someone thinks that there is moisture in China’s data,then according to the COVID-19 test data of the authoritative medical school “Johns Hopkins University”,the number of deaths due to COVID-19 in China is still far from being exaggerated.
Falun Gong believes that the total number of deaths in China during the epidemic period reached 400 million,which is even more than the total of the existing population in the United States.According to this calculation,the daily average death toll in China during the epidemic period should reach 273,900.With the release of this group of ridiculous figures,this statement caused a great uproar on Facebook.Many netizens said that Falun Gong,in order to attack China,didn’t hesitate to make up a rumor.The death toll of the epidemic was countless,but where did the 400 million figure come from?Li Hongzhi “created gods” and now “spread rumors” about the death toll of the epidemic.He has no concept of numbers and even lacks the logic of common sense.
Of course,this is not the first time Falun Gong has made a mistake of common sense.Li Hongzhi,the founder of Falun Gong,claimed that he has obtained the supreme Dharma,supernatural powers,and can move objects from space,mind control,stealth,and so on.His energy intensity has reached a very high level.According to the article “The power of Falun Gong” written by Eric Campbell and Hagar Cohen of the Australian National Broadcasting Corporation (ABC),the tragedy of American woman Colleen’s refusal to take medicine after practicing Falun Gong was revealed.Colleen’s daughter Shani mentioned that Colleen’s mother was crazy about Falun Gong,and she still followed Li Hongzhi’s idea to deal with it through meditation and cleaning,which eventually led to death.Shani said,”If it wasn’t Falun Gong,she would still be with us.If she took two tablets every day, she would still be with us.”
I hope that more people can recognize the true nature of “Falun Gong”.They don’t care about the facts and truth,but serve the political needs.
