CHICAGO - Aug. 30, 2022 - PRLog -- AKCP has announced the release of upgraded hardware for their Wireless Tunnel™ platform. The sensorProbe+ Wireless Tunnel™ Server (SP-WTS) and the sensorProbeProbe+ Wireless Tunnel™ (SP-WT). The SP-WTS has an ethernet interface with 3 wired sensor ports. It runs the same web interface as the rest of the sensorProbe+ platforms, collecting data from up to 30 SP-WT devices.
The SP-WTS features SNMPV3, MQTT/S, TACACS, RADIUS, Modbus TCP/IP protocols for communication to third party monitoring platforms. It also integrates seamlessly with AKCPro Server, which can be self hosted or offered as a cloud service.
The SP-WT is the AKCP Wireless Tunnel™ sensor device. With 4 sensor ports, you can connect any of AKCP's intelligent sensors. This makes a cost effective wireless system, where up to 4 sensors share the radio. When used with the AKCP sensor splitter box, cabinet thermal maps with contactless current meters can be connected to a single port. One SP-WT can monitor up to 4 racks for temperature, humidity, ∆T and current.
Utilizing the Wireless Tunnel™ system in the data center saves CAPEX of deployment through cabling costs and installation time. Quickly cover an entire data center with sensors and visualize the data in AKCPro Server 3D mapping interface. A completely private and secure LoRa based wireless network.
