The online talent competition has its sights set on a national and worldwide presence, announced today that Marc Robin has agreed to serve as a Guest Host and Mentor for the Dance Category. Robin, CEO/Artistic Director of the Fulton Theatre and award winning director and choreographer has staged over 200 productions at theaters across the country and has worked with great talents such as Stephen Sondheim, Martin Short, and Andrew Lloyd Weber. “Marc Robin is the perfect choice to host this exciting new online competition because of his experience, popularity, and ‘street credibility’ within the dance and theater community”, said Robert Kenneth, CEO of the 2B A Rising Star. “Marc has the ability of recognizing new talent, and the connections in the dance world that can certainly help the winners in the dance category”. Special note…Marc once danced for the famed choreographer Bob Fosse.
Robin Roth has performed her “One Woman Show”, around the world including Las Vegas, New York, Boston, Canada, Florida, Arizona, Georgia, California, Italy and London (To name just a few). Her shows are always sold out and include several standing ovations. She is currently performing in Las Vegas for the corporate and convention markets. Her 2 hour performance includes (which can be changed to accommodate venue): music, dance, and comedy.
Some singers think they can do comedy and some Comedians think that they can sing; well Robin the vivacious performer, can do it all! Almost as if by magic she pulls her audience in and includes them in each show with her song and comedy. No one ever knows where she is going and what she is going to do or say, especially during her question and answer part of the show where anything can happen and does. It is obvious that she is having just as much fun as the audience. That perhaps, may be a part of her success and one of the reasons Robin was asked to join in as a Guest Host.
A new online monthly award show seeking artists and superstars of the future has launched, called the 2B A Rising Star. Aspiring artists and entertainers across a range of different genres and niches can upload audition videos of themselves to the site, which are then voted on by visitors. The artist with the most votes in the 21 plus categories can win large awards every month.
