Instead of using fossil fuels such as natural gas to produce ammonia, green fertilizers are produced with ammonia made out of renewable energy. As a result of the technique, fertilizers have a decreased carbon footprint. Kireina Suiso has a portfolio of green ammonia projects in the works, which will be critical in the production of green fertilizers, and is actively expanding its clean ammonia industry.
The fertilizers will be used as part of a custom-designed cultivation program. Farmers can profit from adopting more sustainable farming practices due to this program.
