Progressive Heating & Air has announced the implementation of a one-year warranty on all air conditioning repair services, effective immediately. The warranty extension applies to both residential and commercial properties throughout the San Diego service area.
The warranty program covers all AC services San Diego properties receive from the company's certified technicians, extending protection on parts and labor for twelve months from the date of service. This development coincides with the company maintaining its authorization as a Bryant dealer, requiring adherence to manufacturer standards and ongoing technical certification.
"The warranty extension reflects operational changes we have implemented to enhance service delivery," said a representative from Progressive Heating & Air. "Our technicians complete an average of 40 hours of training annually, and this warranty structure aligns with our technical capabilities and service protocols."
The company services approximately 2,000 air conditioning units annually across San Diego County. The warranty applies to all ac repair service in San Diego performed by the company's 15 certified technicians, who hold EPA certification and state contractor licenses. The program covers repairs on all major brands, including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, and Goodman systems.
As an authorized Bryant dealer since 2019, the company maintains an inventory of Bryant replacement parts and adheres to factory-specified installation procedures. Bryant dealership requirements include quarterly training updates, maintaining minimum parts inventory levels, and achieving customer service benchmarks established by the manufacturer.
"Our technicians receive brand-specific training four times per year through Bryant's dealer program," stated the representative. "This training covers diagnostic procedures, warranty protocols, and new product specifications across Bryant's residential and commercial product lines."
The warranty extension follows industry data showing that extended warranties reduce repeat service calls, according to the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. The program requires customers to register their repair service within 30 days and maintain annual maintenance agreements for warranty validity.
Warranty terms exclude damage from natural disasters, power surges, improper operation, or modifications performed by non-certified technicians. Commercial properties must maintain quarterly maintenance schedules to preserve warranty coverage.
The company employs technicians certified in R-410A and R-22 refrigerant handling, with additional certifications in indoor air quality assessment and duct system design. Service vehicles carry diagnostic equipment, including digital manifolds, combustion analyzers, and thermal imaging cameras for comprehensive system evaluation.
