President of The Aesthetic Society, Eugene Plastic Surgeon Dr. Kiya Movassaghi, Announces Revamped 2025 Aesthetic Meet International Conference

Eugene, OR—Kiya Movassaghi, MD, FACS, President of The Aesthetic Society, is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the organization’s fully re-imagined 2025 conference, The Aesthetic Meet, which is scheduled for March 20-23, 2025 in Austin, Texas. Renamed to reflect its expanded scope, the conference promises greater educational opportunities, new experiences for physicians and aesthetic providers, and a more inclusive approach to aesthetic education beyond the plastic surgery perspective.

Dr. Movassaghi, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Eugene, Oregon, expressed his excitement about the upcoming event. “We are thrilled to unveil the newly revamped Aesthetic Meet conference,” he said. “Our team has worked tirelessly to plan a gathering that represents a significant step forward in our commitment to provide cutting-edge education and foster an inclusive community within the field of aesthetic medicine.”

The Aesthetic Society’s fully re-imagined 2025 conference, The Aesthetic Meet, is scheduled for March 20-23, 2025 in Austin, Texas

Attendees can take advantage of innovative educational sessions, hands-on workshops, and interactive panel discussions, creating opportunities to explore the latest advancements in aesthetic procedures, technologies, and practice management strategies.

The conference is designed to cater to a diverse audience of professionals, including surgeons, nurses, physician assistants, aestheticians, and industry experts, following the newly established AlliedPro branch of The Aesthetic Society. Aesthetic professionals who are not board-certified plastic surgeons may join AlliedPro to gain access to a community of aesthetic professionals in the growing niche of non-surgical aesthetic treatment centers, i.e. medical spas (medspas).

“Our goal is to create an environment where aesthetic professionals from all backgrounds can come together to learn, share, and grow,” Dr. Movassaghi continued. “We’ve curated a program that not only highlights the latest scientific research and clinical techniques but also emphasizes the diverse roles and types of expertise that are required to run a successful, safe, and high-caliber cosmetic practice today.”

The conference schedule includes lectures on wide-ranging topics like “Rhinoplasty Think Tank: 3 Things that I Have Changed in the Past 3 Years,” “Ethics and Patient Safety in Aesthetic Practice,” and “How to Add a Weight and Wellness Program to Your Practice.” Live demonstrations are offered throughout the weekend; providers will also be able to earn CME credit for attendance.

Not only does the schedule include many courses on plastic surgery topics, but nurse and physician assistant injectors—as well as those in non-physician roles in aesthetic practices—will have educational programming opportunities. These include workshops for Patient Care Coordinators and practice marketing professionals, as well as injectables training sessions open to nurses, physician assistants, and physicians.

“We recognize that the future of aesthetic medicine depends on our ability to embrace change and promote safety in all aspects of aesthetic enhancement,” said Dr. Movassaghi. “Whether you’re an established professional or new to the field, The Aesthetic Meet has something valuable to offer, including both classic educational topics and sessions addressing trends and changing aesthetic preferences. We’re encouraging everyone to join us in Austin or virtually to be part of this transformative event.”

For those unable to attend in person, virtual attendance offers access to live-streamed sessions, virtual exhibit halls, and opportunities to interact with speakers and peers through online platforms, making the conference’s educational and networking opportunities accessible to a wider audience.

“By offering both in-person and virtual attendance options, we hope to make it possible for even more of the passionate aesthetic professionals to benefit from the conference, regardless of their location or circumstances,” Dr. Movassaghi noted.
