Following that approval, Siyata announced it will effect a 1-for-100 reverse stock split of its common share, no par value per share, effective tomorrow, Aug, 9, 2023; the company’s common shares will start trading on NASDAQ on a post-split basis at the opening of the market tomorrow as well. The company noted that the objective of the reverse stock split is primarily to bring the company into compliance with the $1 minimum bid price requirement for maintaining its listing on NASDAQ. The company held its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders on Aug. 3, 2023. In addition to the reverse stock split, shareholder approved other proposals, including the appointment of Barzily & Co. as the auditor of the company for the ensuing year; fixing the number of directors of the company at five; the election of directors; and the consideration and approval of ordinary resolutions authorizing and approving an alteration to the articles of the company.
