The event was hosted by the Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (MoHEST), co-organized by Jiangxi Chamber of Commerce, Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, Anhui Chamber of Commerce, Shanxi Chamber of Commerce, Shandong Chamber of Commerce, Henan Chamber of Commerce, Guangdong Chamber of Commerce, and Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, and undertaken by Go Study and Indolife.

Prof. Stella Christie, Vice Minister of the Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, stated at the opening ceremony that talent cultivation and industrial development are mutually reinforcing, and aligning university education with enterprise needs is key to enhancing both talent value and industrial efficiency.
As one of the key highlights of the event, the ASEAN-China Smart Education Institute in Colourful Guizhou (ACSEI) from Guizhou, China, was showcased during the sub-forum session, presenting China’s latest innovations in digital education and attracting wide attention from Indonesian universities and Chinese enterprise representatives. The session drew a full house, with educators from Indonesian universities and representatives from Chinese enterprises attending enthusiastically.

ACSEI is an international education cooperation and exchange platform developed by China Mobile, leveraging advanced technologies such as 5G cloud network, virtual reality, and live streaming. It provides high-quality digital education services for ASEAN and Belt and Road countries, including multi-language online courses, AI course translation, online practical training, and international information promotion.
Currently, the platform supports smooth access from all 11 ASEAN countries, with over 140 institutions worldwide registered and more than 84,000 users. The platform will continue to advance the Belt and Road and Digital China initiatives, striving to build a China–ASEAN Digital Education Community and promote diversified, open, and international education development.
