Founders Launch Qualification Focused System to Improve Real Estate Lead Follow Up Efficiency

Real estate professionals have access to more marketing channels than ever before, yet many still face a persistent operational challenge: determining which prospects are ready to move forward in a transaction.

Canadian founders Cian Duggan and Samuel Martel began exploring this issue after speaking directly with real estate professionals to better understand the challenges they were facing in day to day prospecting.

“Many agents told us they were not short on inquiries,” says Duggan. “The real issue was knowing which prospects were serious and ready to move forward.”

In response, the founders launched Moro Tech, a real estate focused technology company centered on qualification and appointment readiness rather than lead volume alone.

Moro Tech operates by running targeted property interest campaigns and immediately initiating structured qualification conversations with new inquiries. According to Martel, customization is central to the system.

“There is no universal definition of a qualified lead,” he explains. “One agent may prioritize immediate listings, another may focus on specific price ranges or neighborhoods. We configure the qualification process around how each professional defines opportunity.”

Industry research has consistently shown that response timing significantly affects contact rates. However, agents frequently cannot respond within minutes while managing showings, inspections, negotiations, and active client relationships. By initiating contact quickly and conducting preliminary screening, the system is designed to reduce the administrative burden of early stage prospecting.

Rather than replacing agents, Moro Tech positions automation as a preparatory layer within the sales pipeline.

“Technology should organize conversations before they happen,” Duggan says. “The agent remains responsible for advisory work, negotiation, and closing. Our goal is to ensure that when they enter a conversation, it is relevant and timely.”

As digital advertising expands across real estate markets, the founders believe operational efficiency will become increasingly important. While generating attention is no longer difficult, managing and prioritizing that attention has emerged as a key differentiate or among high performing professionals.
