James B. Farmer is a retired lawyer whose childhood was marked by the frequent relocations typical of a Navy pilot’s family. By the time he left for college at Cornell University, he had lived in 18 houses across 11 cities on 2 continents, experiences that shaped his recollections and perspectives. After earning his BA from Cornell, he traveled extensively throughout Europe before obtaining an MCRP and LLB from The Ohio State University. Over his nearly 40-year legal career, Farmer specialized in mergers and acquisitions, working for major corporations and law firms.
