Carnegie Investment Counsel Rings NYSE Closing Bell, Marking 50+ Years of Fiduciary Service and Announcing $100,000 Gift to Malala Fund

Carnegie Investment Counsel, an independent, employee-owned Registered Investment Adviser, rang the Closing Bell at the New York Stock Exchange on December 30, 2025, commemorating more than five decades of fiduciary service and long-standing client partnerships.

The bellringing recognized Carnegie’s sustained growth and continued commitment to serving clients under the fiduciary standard. With roots going back to 1974, the firm advises on more than $7.5 billion in assets for individuals, families, nonprofits, and institutional clients across the United States.

The ceremony was led by Carnegie’s executive leadership and joined by long-tenured professionals whose experience and dedication have shaped the firm’s client-first culture. Being escorted to the NYSE dais and symbolically closing the market marked a milestone reflecting both the firm’s longevity and its focus on enduring relationships.

In conjunction with the event, Carnegie Investment Counsel announced a $100,000 charitable gift to the Malala Fund, supporting the organization’s mission to ensure every girl can learn and choose her own future. This contribution reflects Carnegie’s belief in purposeful stewardship and extending impact beyond investment management.

“Ringing the Closing Bell was a tremendous honor and a reflection of the trust our clients place in us,” said Richard Alt, Chief Executive Officer of Carnegie Investment Counsel. “This milestone represents more than growth. It reflects decades of acting as fiduciaries, investing with discipline, and building relationships that endure. Recognizing the Malala Fund allowed us to celebrate that trust by supporting a mission focused on long-term opportunity and empowerment of girls around the world.”

The event underscored Carnegie’s long-term perspective, both in portfolio management and in its broader role as a responsible corporate citizen, while honoring the clients and professionals who have defined the firm’s success for more than 50 years.
