Zacks Earnings Consistent Portfolio (ZECP) ETF Celebrates 3-Year Anniversary

The Milestone Showcases Zacks’ Commitment to Offering Research-Driven Solutions to Help Investors Navigate Evolving Market Dynamics

Zacks Investment Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zacks Investment Research with $15.1 billion in assets under management, celebrates the three-year anniversary of its flagship ETF, the Zacks Earnings Consistent Portfolio ETF (Cboe: ZECP). For the past three years, Zacks has leveraged its pioneering research-driven investment methodology to create innovative, actively-managed ETFs.

ZECP is built on Zack's established methodology rooted in earnings estimate revisions. Through a proprietary process, ZECP selects a diversified blend of 50-120 of the largest and most liquid U.S. companies based on their earnings history through full market cycles. This time-tested approach aims to create a portfolio that can exhibit resilience through turbulent markets, with the goal of providing investors with a stable foundation for their portfolio.

"The three-year anniversary of ZECP is a testament to the strength of our research-driven approach and the value it can offer investors across different wrappers," notes Mitch Zacks, President of Zacks Investment Management. "ZECP allows investors to access a portfolio of companies with a proven 15-year history of consistent year-over-year earnings growth. In a market environment characterized by chasing after the hottest stock, we believe there is a growing need for data-driven investment products.”

ZECP paved the way for the debut of the Zacks Small/Mid-Cap ETF (SMIZ) in 2023, which combines the strengths of two of the firm’s existing small- and mid-cap separately managed accounts (SMAs). In addition, the firm introduced Zacks+, a unique hybrid model platform for advisors that pairs Zacks’ proprietary ETFs with a suite of single stock portfolios wrapped into a separately managed account (SMA) that is offered at no additional cost to the ETF expense ratios.

"We remain committed to offering innovative solutions to help investors achieve their long-term financial goals," says Sal Esposito, Head of ETF Products at Zacks Investment Management. “Our focus on delivering high-quality, research-driven investment options ensures that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients in a dynamic market environment.
