Limited number of spots available in soon to be energized project at the Morgan Stanley campus in Purchase, NY

In the city that never sleeps, every New York minute counts. And now, in just a minute, you can make a lasting impact on your energy bill and the environment. Say hello to Altus Power Community Solar, the no-strings-attached way to power your community with the benefits of clean, renewable energy. Altus Power (NYSE: AMPS), the largest commercial scale provider of clean electric power, is offering slots to both renters and homeowners who are looking for opportunities to save on their annual utility costs while supporting New York’s transition to clean electric power.

“New Yorkers are known for their hustle, and Community Solar fits right into our fast-paced lives. This program lets you tap into local solar farms without installing panels on your roof,” said Nichole Clennon, Vice President of Community Solar, Altus Power. “It’s a win-win: you save money on your electricity costs and reduce your community’s carbon footprint, all through a simple sign-up process, because every moment - and every kilowatt hour - counts.”

Through an Altus owned and operated solar project at the Morgan Stanley campus in Westchester County, a limited number of spots will be available to residents in the community, including Morgan Stanley employees.

Here’s how eligible New Yorkers can sign up:

  1. Sign Up in a Snap: Visit https://www.altuspower.com/states/new-york and submit an application in less time than it takes to order your morning coffee.
    1. If you’re a ConEd, NYSEG or NAT GRID customer, you may be eligible!
    2. Fill out your address and utility account information
    3. Depending on your utility, you may be asked to set up a payment method to pay for your discounted bill credits.
  2. Connect to the Benefits of Solar Power. Secure your spot in advance to lock in your savings before slots fill up. No installations, no upfront costs, no changing utility providers, no headaches.
  3. Enjoy the Savings: Once the solar farm is live and sending clean power to the grid, watch your electricity bill shrink while you bask in the glow of renewable energy.

Why Trust Community Solar? We get it – New Yorkers are savvy and cynical. So let’s clear the air: Community Solar is not a scam. It’s a state-supported initiative designed to make solar power accessible to everyone. Whether you’re renting a cozy apartment in Manhattan or own a brownstone in Brooklyn, you can join the solar revolution. And if you move within New York, your Community Solar benefits move with you.

Limited spots are available, with priority access given to those who qualify for certain state benefits.

As one of the pioneers of Community Solar, Altus Power currently serves more than 25,000 subscribers nationwide. The soon-to-be energized 2.8 megawatt solar array is located on parking canopies at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s campus in Purchase, N.Y., and is expected to save the carbon equivalent of burning more than 2.9 million pounds of coal or more than 4,700 barrels of oil as compared to utility power. Morgan Stanley will benefit from 40% of the discounted, clean electric power generated from the project, with the remaining benefits to be offered to residents in the local community, including Morgan Stanley employees.
