Pınarbaşı, a district of Kastamonu in northern Türkiye known for its remarkable natural landscapes, has been promoted through a digital collaboration involving Pınarbaşı Municipality’s social media accounts, several social media influencers and the local digital media platform Spontane Medya Kastamonu.

The initiative aimed to highlight the region’s nature tourism potential by sharing aerial drone footage and visual content across social media platforms.

As part of the collaboration, content creators captured drone footage of Pınarbaşı’s natural areas and scenic locations. The shared visuals included views of Horma Canyon and Ilıca Waterfall, two of the district’s well-known natural attractions.

The content was later distributed across social media platforms in order to increase the district’s digital visibility and introduce its natural beauty to wider audiences. One of the videos shared on Instagram reached more than 115,000 views and received over 1,000 likes.

Berat Kaan Yılmaz, founder of Spontane Medya Kastamonu, said that digital platforms can play an important role in promoting regional destinations and raising awareness of local tourism potential.

Pınarbaşı district, located in Kastamonu province, is known for its rich natural environment and is home to attractions such as Horma Canyon, Ilıca Waterfall and Valla Canyon, which are considered among Türkiye’s notable nature tourism destinations.
