Andrew Lloyd-Webber's record-breaking musical The Phantom of the Opera has once again extended its run in the West End. The production first opened in the West End at His Majesty's Theatre in 1986 and remains the resident show at the venue making it the second longest-running musical ever in the West End after Les Miserables. The production will continue to showcase in London until at least 28th March 2026.

For each performance of the show over 130 cast, crew, and orchestra members are involved featuring 230 costumes, 281 candles, 10 fog, and smoke machines, 120 automated cues, 22 scene changes, and 250kg of dry ice are used. The replica of the chandelier in the Paris Opera House used in the show features an incredible 6000 beads and weighs one ton!

Dean Chisnall currently stars in the production as The Phantom alongside Lily Kerhoas as Christine Daaé, Joe Griffiths-Brown as Raoul, Joanna Ampil as Carlotta Giudicelli, Adam Linstead as Monsieur André, David Kristopher-Brown as Ubaldo Piangi, Millie Lyon as Meg Giry, Martin Ball as Monsieur Firmin, and Helen Hobson as Madame Giry. For certain performances, Eve Shanu-Wilson will take the role of Christine Daaé.
