1. Long-term overload operation: Long-term overload operation of a diesel engine will increase its fuel consumption and heat load, resulting in excessive water temperature. For this reason, long-term overload operation of the diesel engine should be avoided.
2. Insufficient coolant: Regularly check the coolant stock in the radiator and expansion tank, and replenish it in time when the liquid level is low. Because if there is a lack of coolant in the diesel engine cooling system, it will affect the heat dissipation effect of the diesel engine and cause the diesel engine to be overheated.
3. Mutual interference of heat dissipation devices (engineering machinery): If the hydraulic oil radiator and the water radiator are placed one after another, when the temperature of the hydraulic oil is high, the temperature of the cold air on the inlet side of the water radiator will inevitably be high, affecting the water supply. Radiator dissipates heat. In this regard, the heat dissipation of the hydraulic system should be inspected and the impact of the hydraulic oil radiator on poor heat dissipation of the diesel engine water radiator should be reduced.
4. The fan belt is too loose or the fan is deformed: Regularly check whether the diesel engine fan belt is loose and whether the fan shape is abnormal. Because the fan belt is too loose, it is easy to cause the fan speed to decrease, causing the radiator to be unable to exert its proper heat dissipation capacity, causing the diesel engine temperature to be too high. In addition, the deformation of the fan will also cause the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator to be unable to be fully exerted.
5. Debris attached to the surface of the radiator: It is a common phenomenon to have debris attached to the surface of the radiator. The attached debris will reduce the heat dissipation area of the radiator and the windward area of the radiator, resulting in a reduction in the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator, causing Diesel engine high temperature. Therefore, the radiator should be cleaned regularly.
6. Poor coolant circulation: Insufficient opening of the thermostat will reduce the heat dissipation capacity of the large circulation of the diesel engine cooling system. If the diesel engine is at high temperature, you can put the thermostat into water for heating inspection. Generally, the opening distance of the thermostat is 8 to 10 mm.
Warm reminder: Poor performance of the water pump will cause the coolant flow to decrease, resulting in a high temperature of the diesel engine.
When checking the upper and lower water chambers of the radiator, the temperature difference between the upper and lower water chambers is generally 6 to 12°C. If it is too small, the water pump can be replaced. Excessive scale in the water pump will also affect the heat dissipation efficiency of the fins in the radiator and reduce the heat conduction capacity of the coolant and cold air. In this regard, the diesel engine cooling system should be cleaned regularly, and at the same time, avoid using low-quality coolant to reduce the formation of scale.
The temperature is relatively high in summer.
