Chairman Man-hee Lee visits during his nationwide tour emphasising the importance of Revelation and the Word of God.

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, September 09, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On this day, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, was shaken. 80,000 people, one-tenth of Cheongju City (850,000), gathered in one place to worship. The place where the crowds gathered was Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, Matthias Tribe Cheongju Church. Upon hearing the news that Chairman Lee Man-hee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus would visit, members of the Matthias tribe in charge of the Chungcheong region, as well as members of the John tribe in charge of Seoul and southern Gyeonggi region, and key missionaries from churches across the country gathered together and worshiped together. The event also coincided with the 30th anniversary of the Cheongju Church's founding, making it particularly significant. Furthermore, over 100 pastors from various Protestant churches attended as well, eager to hear Chairman Lee's sermon. Additionally, about 100 pastors from established and various Protestant churches also came to worship together and to hear the sermon delivered.

From the early hours of this day, numerous members of Shincheonji, lined up along the 4km route from the Cheongju IC entrance road to Cheongju Church to welcome Chairman Lee. They expressed deep appreciation because of his clear explanations of biblical prophecies, including the Book of Revelation, which many theologians find difficult to interpret.

On this day, Chairman Lee said, "How grateful we are that God has revealed to us the words of the Book of Revelation, which no one knew for 6,000 years. These words are life." "We must have a faith that is 100% consistent with these words, and this means becoming one with God," he said.

He continued, "This is the biggest difference because we can present the reality (of the Revelation prophecy)," adding, "However, we were in the same position as those who did not know in the past. So now we must humble ourselves in front of everyone and explain what is right and help them understand."

Since the founding of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Lee has consistently emphasized the importance of the revealed word and the need for Bible-centered faith. This year alone, we are concentrating on delivering the message of revelation by visiting churches at home and abroad in over 40 regions, including this visit to Cheongju Church.

Accordingly, a change is being observed where domestic and international church members who were unable to quench their thirst for the Word of God are moving to Shincheonji Church of Jesus to seek its profound teachings of the bible.

Mr. Lee, who has been leading a religious life in the Presbyterian Church for over 30 years, confessed, "I was shocked by Chairman Lee's lecture at the Crusade of the Word, where he clearly explained the entire book of Revelation."

This confession is proven by data. According to a survey conducted by the Ministry Data Research Institute on 1,000 Protestants aged 19 or older in September last year, 65% of those attending domestic Protestant churches responded that they 'feel spiritually thirsty;

Additionally, 55%, more than half of the total number of respondents, answered, 'I want to receive a systematic Bible education from a pastor.' This is said to be the current state of Bible education in domestic Protestant circles.

Moreover, the de-religionization of young people in their 20s and 30s is intensifying, and this is the biggest concern for the Protestant world. On the other hand, Shincheonji Church of Jesus is not only seeing an increase in the number of young believers in their 20s and 30s, but the number of members completing regular 8-month courses is exceeding 100,000 every year.

An official from Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, "The core of the revelation preached by Chairman Lee is that the prophecies in the Book of Revelation are actually coming true and have substance." He explained, "in regards to this, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has a strong evidential proof and a structured curriculum, which becomes the reason why many people despite their background are accepting this". He added, "because this originates from the pastor who has seen and heard the physical fulfillment of the prophecies, we hope that believers would check and decide with a mature attitude."
