a.   In the first quarter of 2005, Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation’s long-term debt was reduced by $6 thousand due to payments on capital leases.

b.   In the first quarter of 2005, guaranties for EnergyUSA-TPC Corp. decreased $25,750 thousands due to a decrease in activity.

c.   In the first quarter of 2005, Columbia Energy Services Corporation guarantees decreased $6,942 thousand which decrease over time as performance occurs.
