     On August 17, 2007, American Realty Investors, Inc. (“ARL” or the “Company”) issued a replacement announcement of its operational results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007; the replacement announcement corrected certain items in and replaced an announcement issued August 15, 2007. A copy of the replacement announcement is attached as Exhibit “99.1.”
