(b) On September 15, 2005, Paul B. Mulhollem, President and Chief Operating Officer of Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (the “Company”), announced his retirement from the Company, effective immediately. The Company issued a press release relating to this event which is furnished as Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated by reference herein.
