On February 11, 2005, Starbucks Corporation issued a press release announcing that it had filed a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission to obtain a five-day extension of the due date for its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the period ended January 2, 2005. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
