On September 24, 2009, PartnerRe Ltd. (“PartnerRe”) announced that its shareholders approved, at a special general meeting of its shareholders, all of the proposals unanimously recommended by PartnerRe’s Board of Directors to effect PartnerRe’s proposed acquisition of PARIS RE Holdings Limited.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
