Item 8.01		Other Events

     On March 1, 2006, Select Medical Corporation’s wholly-owned subsidiary, SLMC Finance Corporation, completed the previously announced sale of all of the issued and outstanding shares of Canadian Back Institute Limited to a corporation formed by Callisto Capital L.P.
