ITEM 5.02. ELECTION OF DIRECTOR.
 
On February 21, 2007, Mr. Harold M. Paisner was elected as a Class B Director of Interface, Inc. Mr. Paisner was elected by the Board of Directors to fill a vacancy created by reason of the retirement of Clarinus C. Th. van Andel, and Mr. Paisner will serve until the next election of Directors by the shareholders and until the election and qualification of his successor. Mr. Paisner was nominated for the position by the Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors after a selection process  Mr. Paisner also will serve on the Compensation Committee of the Board.
