Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 12, 2009, Charlotte Russe Holding, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the Company’s Board of Directors has instructed its financial advisor, Cowen and Company, LLC, to initiate a sale process as part of the Company’s previously announced review of strategic alternatives. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K and incorporated by reference herein.
