BANCOLOMBIA S.A. ANNOUNCES ITS INCLUSION IN THE DOW JONES SUSTAINABILITY WORLD INDEX

 

Medellín, Colombia, September 13, 2012

 

Bancolombia announces its inclusion in the list of issuers tracked by the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index today, one of the main global indicators that monitor performance of leading companies in terms of corporate sustainability.

 

Of 190 evaluated banks worldwide, only 26 were selected to be included in the index. With this achievement, Bancolombia became one of the 2,500 companies listed on recognized securities exchanges with outstanding sustainability performance included in the Dow Jones Global index.

 

Being selected as an issuer tracked by this index confirms the commitment of Bancolombia Group with sustainability, economic growth, environmental well-being and social inclusion, in the context of a more humane and sustainable banking.
