Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On August 7, 2008, Orthofix International N.V. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “press release”) announcing, among other things, its results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008 as well as guidance for certain projected financial results for the Company for the third quarter and full year of 2008.  A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and attached hereto.
