Item 8.01 Other events
On April 18, 2007, the Board of Directors of Central Valley Community Bancorp (the “Company) approved the adoption of a program to effect repurchases of the Company’s common stock. The Company may repurchase up to approximately $2,000,000 of the Company’s outstanding shares of common stock under the program for a period beginning on April 18, 2007 and ending October 18, 2007. The shares will be repurchased in open market transactions through brokers, subject to availability.
